Application and Payment for MTACDL Membership

To apply and pay for MTACDL membership, please fill out this form.  (Note: if you are not accepted for any reason, your payment will be refunded to you immediately.)  At the end, select the rate from the dropdown list that applies to you:

  • Regular: $115
  • Public Defender: $65 (This applies to government employees, non-profit organizations, or if at least 50% of your criminal work is court-appointed.)
  • New Lawyer: $55 (This applies to those who have been a member of any bar association for less than 3 years.)
  • Tribal Court Advocate: $50
  • Non-Lawyer Affiliate: $50
  • Law Students: $10
  • Lifetime: $2,000

When you're finished, click or tap the "Submit" button.  You will be taken to PayPal to complete a secure transaction.  You can pay using your credit card or a PayPal account. 

Once your payment is complete, we'll create an account for you and give you credentials for the association website and listserve.  You'll receive an email explaining how to use them.  If you have questions, please contact the MTACDL administrator at mtacdl@gmail.com

If I accept an appointment as a judge, prosecutor or police legal advisor, I will, within 30 days of doing so, notify MTACDL and withdraw my membership or request a waiver of the provisions of the Bylaws of the association prohibiting membership of prosecutors.
